Speaking of dive bombing birds, during my daughter's horse riding lesson
yesterday we had a very aggressive Lapwing do at least 40 close dives on
the instructor's dog that was lying quietly in the middle of the sand
arena. The lapwing didn't bother with me, the instructor, or the horse
and rider. Just the poor perturbed kelpie that was minding its own
business!
