Hi all

An enjoyable addition to my campus list: there is an Australian hobby on the ANU campus at the moment. It is based on the large gum with the deserted raven (or crow) nest on the corner of Ellery Crest and East Row - it is hawking for cicadas, I think. I have just enjoyed wonderful scope views. It was there yesterday too, so I think there is a fair chance it will be around for a few days: it is quiet on campus at the moment
