Common Koel - What's in a name

I posted a picture of a Male Common Koel at www.birdforum.net this week, and
received a response that it was now called the Australian Koel (Eudynamys
cyanocephala).

As everyone here seems to call it the Common Koel (Eudynamis scolopacea)
would appreciate any comments?
