Dear All
Just an update on my last posting re "The Ruffey Lake Twitch". I was there
again
Saturday morning (early - 6.50 - 8) and recorded 34 species. The
"Superchook"(Black-
tailed Native-hen - for the uninitiated) was still there between the island and
the fenced
section of the northern shore. The Tawny Frogmouths were not viewed but were
there
the day before but have been, by my single sighting, recorded for posterity.
An
Australian Hobby created a bit of a stir with its "fly past".

It must be getting close to the next "Twitch Party", so we keep you informed
about the
details etc.

Regards
