This is just a request for information on birding sites I should try to get to around Paluma between Townsville and Ingham in Queensland. I will be in the area for a week based at Paluma. Keen to hear people's advice on - good car hire businesses in Townsville (I don't require a 4WD vehicle) - localities I should try to get to around Townsville for birds - any inland spots worth visiting - selections of species I am likelyl to encounter I haven't been north of Brisbane so this will all be new country for me. Please reply to me directly unless you think it of general interest (by Friday).
