Sorry, left out White-winged Triller! This continues the amazing season for Trillers and Rufous Songlark, both which have been just about everywhere this spring,
Greg

Hi everyone,

Dropped into Banyule Flats, Heidelberg (Melb n. eastern suburb) yesterday morning for a very quick (1-2 hours) look. Saw some good birds - Baillon's Crake, White-necked Heron, Pink-eared Duck, a pair of Hobby, BW Stilt and many Mistletoebirds (saw or heard at least 8). Other than the Baillon's, I didn't see any other Crakes/Rails but it looks like a likely spot.
Around 47 spp in just over an hour - not bad for the burbs!

Cheers,
Greg
