For those who wish to have a brief peak at the Eastern Creek tip for raptors/birds, you can view it easily  from Ferrers Rd (this road has recently been deviated and closer to the tip) which runs off the Great Western HWY in between the tip and the Eastern Creek Raceway. You may be able to park off the road and see all the birds (Black Falcon, Whistling Kites etc) from the roadside. There is also 2 small wetlands opposite the raceway (one which has lots of Sacred Ibis may be good for Crakes/Painted Snipe!)
