G?day Dean,

If I may, I?d like as my surname suggests, to have a small wager with you, about thee activity of "Wild Bird Banding" ? if I lose this debate to you then I will give you a very old bottle of Liqueur Port that has been in my family for many years?

Should you lose thee debate, then you will immediately and permanently cease the activity of banding "Wild Birds" and you will join with me, and thee growing army of those that protest against this act of inhumane barbarism against wild birds?

My first question to you is this: Can you accept the fact that there are human beings on this planet who in their entire life have no need to visit a medical doctor, a hospital or alike because of their healthy lifestyle, metabolism and gene composition? This is in fact true and thee worldwide medical fraternity study these people. Could the same possibly exist in "Wild Birds?" some birds live longer then their brothers and sisters for no apparent reason known to mankind?

I eagle~lee await your reply, yours sincerely John A. Gamblin

P.S. I?m thinking, perhaps? We should allow our peers to judge us? So what say you select ten emailers from the fabulous Birding-Aus email list and I shall do the same. To form a debate judging panel? We are both grown gentlemen and I see no need, unless that is, that you tern vicious? No need at all, to verbally attack one and other. My humble apology for thee deliberate miss pellin. It?s thee Welsh ancestry in me ewe see.
