Well said Celia

I had to wait two hours yesterday to see a Little Bittern But I saw a
resplendent male and there are 5/6 individuals there to see.

Two points here:

1. Patience will enable you to see the birds. Gale the local bird carer and
Local Conservation Member, will spot you and keep you engaged with facts of
the birds of the area until you do.

2. This many birds must be an important percentage of this species in the
Port Phillip Bay District so they need to be looked after if you want your
grandchildren to see them.

Lake Gresswell is the best small birding Lake I have visited since growing
up around the Perth Lakes in West Aust.

Happy Birding
