No sign of the Kestral today at Kurnell (Cape Solander). Lunchtime today
saw a black shouldered kite hovering over the heath. Still plenty of
New Hollands and little wattlebirds arguing over the Banksia ericifolia
nectar. A lone Aust Gannet was spotted as well. The woodland around
the NP visitor centre and picnic areas still has large numbers of
Lorikeets, feeding on the eucalypt that are still in heavy blossom.
