Eden (NSW) Pelagic Report, Easter Sunday March 31, 2002

Departed 08.00 Returned 16.00. Went out 20 nautical miles (43 kms).
Seas: 2 - 2.5m swell easing in the afternoon. Winds: 15-20 knots.
Water temp:21 Deg C.  Sea temp:20 Deg C.

On board were: Eric Andrew, David Webb, Grahame Clark, Nicola Clark, John Wearne, Pat Wearne, Wendy Davies, Paul Burger, Lance Hartley, Gerry Sheehan, Matt Fleming, Maree Petrow plus Skipper John Smith and Decky Manfred Noether.

Initial stop was at 37.12' S, 150.19' E, where 20 - 30 Australasian Gannets were feeding. Started burleying there then drifted out 4-5 kms which took us over the shelf into 140 fathoms. Steamed out another 5 kms before turning back to Eden. Two people mildly unwell but vowed to return.
