In my area, the Bankstown District, I have been birding for the past 7 years and during that time have only come across 2 other birdos and they were not from the area. Bankstown has a population of 167,000 and apart for a friend, we know of no other who shares our interest.

Birding in other areas it is quite rare to see other birdos except for some well known places, example the Windsor-Magraths-Richmond area.
