I don't think Don Burke would be the best advocate re. bird publicity.
He is happy to shoot certain birds and animals that he finds a pest or
an annoyance in his own Sydney backyard. An article in the Sydney
Morning Herald two weeks ago looked at this. The headline for the piece
was 'Open season in Burke's Backyard', and I recall magpies and possums
were in Don's sights.
