Good Morning Everyone,
In response to Edwin Vella's statement about interest in birds.
I don't think that you have to belong to a club if you're interested in birds. We've always had books to identify birds in our house and our kids grew up with them as well. By the age of 7 our daughter could identify most birds out here, not only by their appearance but by their flight patterns and is now passing on the same interest to her son. They live up in the Gulf so I suppose the birds would be different to the ones she grew up with, but the interest, once kindled never dies does it?
I'm sure that there are as many, if not more, people interested in birds who don't belong to a club as those who do.
Like David Siems I couldn't believe how many people are interested in birds, and that was this year. I thought my husband was a bit eccentric with his interest which has been lifelong and is ongoing.
Regards,
Julie McLaren.
