Great to hear about Chris Tzaros' sighting at Rusden which is
about 8km from the George St, Sandringham site (Fildes factory
Melway p77 B12).

Our birds again quiet and missed by several people. But probably
two at about 11am on Friday (seen by me, then Jim Beruldsen).
Picked up from "fip" calls which on recent days seem to happen
when rainbow lorikeets are nearby.

Few gums are in flower at present in Bayside. Mainly the
E.citriodora (maculata?) at George St. and some red ironbarks.
Also one small red gum which I guess would have been the main
spring flowering eucalypt around here historically.
