This magnificient duck was still at Cowans Reserve near Grafton as of
5.15 pm on the 10/8. My brother, Rob and John Reidy would have see it
today 11/8 (if it is still there) but I can't reach him on the mobile.

It is worth the 7 1/2-8 hour drive from Sydney as I'm sure it will
still be there this weekend. Also of interest, Jabiru and Jacana.

On a down note, I managed to hit a kangaroo near travelling south near
Grafton airport. Didn't do much for my company Magna as we met at over
80 kph.

Good Luck with the Northern Pintail. Well worth the drive.
