Hi Sharon,

Lucky you, I am green with envy.  I was given a book called the Australian
Geographic Birdwatcher's Journal that has room for ticks, dates, notes in
the back and is nice and compact at around 20 X 15 cm.  It is a hard back
and quite nicely presented.

Try this link: www.australian geographic.com/ausgeo/shop.htm and search for
the Birdwatcher's Journal it is $16.95 Australian I guess (8 Pounds) and if
you don't want to buy over the net, they have shops in major shopping
centres in Australia.
