The penguin (and the elephant seal) were still there this morning (Wednesday 26 January) from 0930 to 1100. Mike Carter suggests that its moult is almost over and that it will not be there much longer.

Two things puzzle me. Should one be allowed to see a New Zealand bird on Australia Day? Does the penguin know that only Fairy Penguins are allowed near Port Fairy?
