Trevor's message should be taken to heart by all who would attract
honey-eaters to their property. Eremophilas (it means "desert lover")
are vastly under appreciated while everyone rushes to plant Grevilleas.
There are Eremophilas of every size(except for large trees), shape and
colour of flower and leaf and they are pretty undemanding, in our
experience. Heavy or light soil is OK and many will tolerate light shade
&/or frost. They love hot sunshine and there are usually one or two
flowering at any time of year.
