Male Redthroat seen and heard a couple of days ago, here on Fiddlers
Green (8.5 km south of Morgan, South Australia ("Top of the Murray").
Also here, every day, are small mixed flocks (10-50 birds)of Straw
necked and Aust White (Sacred?) Ibis. They're here for the white
"Italian" snails which they wander around devouring for several hours
each day, in between loafing/roosting around our ajacent, shallow
lagoon. The ibis come quite close to our buildings and don't seem
bothered by the dog's activities at a range of about 30 m.
Regards, Anne
