A (non-birder) friend of mine swears that cats will not eat starlings
- they might kill them but won't eat them. He attributes this to the
starlings supposedly being riddled with 'worms'. I was more than a
little sceptical but didn't want to dampen any enthusiasm for birds
(which, incidentally, has been given a tremendous boost by LoB), so
promised I'd ask around as to the veracity of his observations. Any
takers?
