Hi Rob,  

Just read your posting outlining your displeasure.  I too am far from
impressed but please tread carefully.  Have you read the message from
Paul Taylor that directed you to an anti-spamming web site.  It has lots
of great information that I presume is correct.  

One of the sections tells a story of an innocent person recieving junk
advertising and sending a message of complaint to the spammers.  They
then proceeded to "bomb" her by sending thousands of similar messages
that made her email next to useless.

Have a read of the stuff these people get upto.  I am going to give my
delete button a healthy work out and try to avoid sending messages to
people who I dont know, or if it all gets too much, only complain to a
provider.  You just don't know who you are dealing with, or what they
might send you.
