Black-headed Gull back at Buffalo Creek, Darwin this evening (25 March). Since the last sighting on 15 Feb its whereabouts have been completely unknown, since the 'likely' sites have been checked regularly. Nothing else at the moment. Yellow Wagtails are down to about 20 though they haven't been checked for two days. There has been a sudden drop in humidity here and in the past this has seemed to trigger the departure of the wags, though it's usually been in April. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next little while. One Grey Wagtail was also seen on Sunday 22 March. Happy wagging Niven. ************ Niven McCrie http://www.taunet.net.au/niven/ P.O. Box 41382 Casuarina 0811 NT Australia 61 8 89451130 |
