I saw a most peculiar man, all giggling with glee. Sniffing at a petrel as it swam upon the sea. "I love the smell of petrel," is all the fellow said. I wish that there were more like him; that darling petrel head. by Michael Leunig This was the text for a cartoon on the back page of today's Sydney Morning Herald. The picture was a man with a huge petrel head standing waist deep in the sea gazing lovingly at a petrel!
