RE: Wandering Albatross

There is an article in the latest issue of Nature Australia (formerly ANH) 
on the Wandering Albatross and the demise of the (mostly) females as a 
result of long-line fishing. It also mentions that numbers off Sydney 
started to decline when they stopped pumping untreated offal from 
abbottoirs, through the Malabar outfall. This magazine is put out by the 
Australian Museum and has lots of good articles on birds and other wildlife, 
well worth reading.
