The Coordination of the Graduate Program in Biodiversity and Nature Conservation (PPG Biodiversity) at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) announces the opening of applications for the selection process for a postdoctoral position (Notice 2025-3). The selection aims to fill a position for a specific project funded by the Aqualie Institute through a project approved under the R&D modality of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels (ANP) by Petrobras, entitled “Scientific Passive Acoustic Monitoring Project,” under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Artur Andriolo. The position offers a monthly postdoctoral fellowship worth approximately $1,270.00 (USD) for 20 months during the project. The study investigates the biodiversity of mysticetes and their acoustic behavior in the South Atlantic Ocean. The selected candidate must reside in Juiz de Fora, MG, Brazil. The application period runs from 00:00 (midnight) on April 1, 2025, to 23:45 on April 15, 2025.
