Dear All,

I just started the ‘Active Sensing Collectives’  research  group at the University of Konstanz. We study how active-sensing agents like echolocating bats and robots could show collective behaviour despite the sensory & motor challenges groups present.

I'm advertising a PhD position on the multi-sensor study of echolocating bat groups in the field. More info and link to the application portal can be found on the lab page. Deadline for applications is May 25th 2025.

I would greatly appreciate if you were to spread and share this advertisement amongst your colleagues, academic programs and labs.

I'm also available for informal queries at

best,

Thejasvi
