 Hi Dave,
 I have one installed outside my office which connects directly to my 
 computer, where I can instantly record anything interesting at the feeders 
 outside. It's a very nice mic, not perfect, but rugged and forgiving. If 
 you'd like me to send a few recordings from it, let me know.
