CZM microphone

Has anyone any experience with the CZM (or CVX) microphone from River Forks
 Research (www.riverforks.com)?  The company says the mic is relatively
 wind-resistant and "an ideal outdoor microphone for challenging
 applications," but it's hard to tell how much so from the information on
 their web pages.  They also say it's been used for bird surveys.
 
 Any experience?
