Hi Kirri
This is where eBird comes into its own. Whether or not your use eBird to record your own sightings doesn't matter - you can still find heaps of helpful information about sightings in an area.
Just go to eBird and click on Explore Hotspots e.g.
I entered "Bunya" and had a load of results from the Bunya Mts (and a few unrelated ones with Bunya in the name!).
There are more than a dozen hotspots for Bunya Mts National Park, and you can limit your search to show only those hotspots with recent checklists, or the hotpots with checklists in any February etc. THere is lots more you can do, but spend a little time on eBird if you haven't used it before and you will be surprised at how much helpful info is readily available.
Kind regards
Russell
