In relation to this topic, see link below to a recent podcast interview I did with Nan and Hugh Nicholson who organised Australia's first successful environmental protest (preceding the Franklin Dam protests) at Terania Creek in Northern NSW in 1979. They have some interesting views on climate change, economic growth and the proposed Dunoon Dam. The podcast also discusses the fires late last year that saw rainforests in Australia burn for the first time (due to global warming). Best, Charles Hunter
