Sue, Phil, and Rowan Gregory would like to thank everyone who has come to see or stay with us at Cassowary House since 1998. That era has now come to an end as we have sold the property to Leonie Travis and her family. They intend to keep running it as a guest house and we wish them all the best. Phil left yesterday for Japan, with a farewell visit from dad Cassowary and his 2 chicks just as he was about to leave. We are surely going to miss the riflebirds, catbirds, butcherbirds and of course the cassowaries who have been a big part of our lives for so long.We are relocating to a rainforest property up near Topaz on the Atherton Tablelands, and will continue to run Cassowary Tours and Sicklebill Safaris from there. Thanks to everyone for their support over the years at what is great birding site and lovely place, we were so lucky to have our grandson start growing up there and now being very keen on wildlife as well as a terrific 2 year old spotter!
