Hi everyone, Had a bit of a thrill this morning to see a small flock of Scarlet Honeyeaters in my front garden, in a crab-apple tree. We get loads of birds here in south coast NSW on our small acreage, but this is the first time we’ve seen this beautiful little bird. There were a few males, several females and some young birds as well. They were in the tree for about twenty minutes, had a great view from the front window. Good start to the birding year!
