Hi Chris & others
not sure about Channel-billeds, but I always get the impression that Koels
arrive – call loudly for a couple of hours to proclaim their arrival and then
set about quietly recuperating for 3 or 4 days – then they fire up again.
First Koel heard here on 5 September, then quiet until 12 September. If
Channel-billeds are the same, they are there but getting their energy back –
and I am sure soon you’ll wish they were a bit more tired!
Cheers
Tom Wilson
