When we visit the UK we use such names with "Jingo"added in front - eg
"Jingo Kingfisher", "Jingo Heron". It's easier than trying to remember
which ones have the suffix "Common" and which are "European". Which
raises the thought: post Brexit will the latter be banned in the UK?

Having segued into politics it is good to see that Bird-a-Day are
celebrating tomorrow's HUGE! Incredible!!! Disaster!!! by having the 2017
slogan "Make Birding Great Again" with the logo of a Trumpeter Swan!
