Visited the site today for the first time in a couple of months - and had good birds including Osprey and Phalarope. But many areas are closed - Austin road has been closed for several months as a result of weather conditions, the road between the Beach Rd entrance and the bird hide is closed as they improve distribution of water. But today my key would not work in Gate 2 (Western lagoons) - apparently the gate is faulty so the lock had been changed with no warnings. Becoming increasingly hard to get around - and the recent heavy rains mean almost no ducks around. Still good birding but about time Melb Water told birders when they registered their visits what is open and what is closed!

Birding-Aus mailing list

To change settings or unsubscribe visit:
http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org
|
