Hi Burney,
Location suggestions and/or independent bird guides for your following
stops:
Port Dickson - Tg Tuan Forest Reserve, just south of the town, has an easy
walk thru coastal forest, to a lighthouse overlooking the Straits of Malacca
Pangkor - across from the island is Teluk Batik Forest Reserve wherein is
located the Vale Eco Centre. This is a nature reserve with trails suitable
for birding.
Penang - check out the webpage of Choy Wai Mun for birding on the island
and mainland : http://www.penangbirder.blogspot.my/
Langkawi - check out the home page of Wendy for information and contact;
www.wendynatureguide.com
KL - self-guided birding in Kuala Selangor Nature Park, accessible by bus
from the city. This is a secondary forest/mangrove site good for common
birds.
Fraser's Hill - a top birding location accessible only by car or taxi.
Self-guided birding for montane birds.
Hope the above is of some help.
