i
found 26 models listed with built in GPS and claims of being waterproof and
shockproof. An offset is they don't have great zoomability.
I have used a Panasonic DMC TZ40 which has GPS and a 40x zoom with good
zoom-macro. Its pocket sized and I have taken it on many field trips, with
the only issue being a sticky lens cover due to dust getting in.\\Martin
