A slight correction.  The coordinates were good but it was 80km north of
Clermont, not Emerald.  Whats 100km between friends?

I put the error down to brainfade after a poor nights sleep due to idiots
in the camp at Charters Towers

Incidentally if camping at Roma, try Meadowbank Museum Farmstay about 12km
west of town.  Lovely people and lotsa birds around the tents.
