Driving on the Gregory Development Highway yesterday 7 July at -22.3035 x147.2775 (about 80km North of Emerald I think) we encountered a flock of at least 700 Brolgas. 500 (mostly counted, with a top up estimate) were at a dam on the W side and the rest, estimated at 200, were gtazing in a paddock of harvested sorgum on the East.
