All of this corvid stuff is well covered (including the calls) on my website 
www.graemechapman.com.au As people have noted, flocks or more than 20 or so 
Australian Ravens are unusual.

For anyone who is interested in hearing and watching Little Ravens, they are 
the resident breeding birds at Bowral, and Goulburn, and many other higher, 
colder places in NSW.

This time of year, like some other species of birds, immatures (often in 
flocks) do descend to the warmer coastal plain in winter.

Here at Basin View it is Pied Currawongs.
