hey all

There are plenty of ignorant juvenile bats in camp at the moment who would
be stupid enough to get off the branch when startled.

Every year, around this time of year, juvenile and adult bats come into
care with apparent raptor wounds. Raptor bats have deep puncture wounds
around the body and membrane without fractures. Injuries caused by dogs are
major crush injuries with significant fractures. Cats are rarely, if ever,
responsible for attacks on fruit bats.

cheers
