Yes, that would be an interesting logistical challenge. He has to average
about 20 species per day throughout the year. The trick is to be able to
collect as many of the endemics in each region in as short a time possible. It
would be frustrating in areas where there are a few endemics but the time
constraints make them unviable (e.g. the grasswrens etc in the Lake Eyre Basin)
