Thanks Chris,

I appreciate the information. I knew they were there, but thought there might 
be a findable population to the north and closer as well. According to the 
information I can find/have been given,  they are not reliable till the Port 
Macquarie area to the North. 

Well, ok, so there are/were the Malabar birds, but my understanding is that no 
more have been seen there for several years and the source of the two birds is 
still slightly controversial? Has anyone searched the Malabar area lately?

If someone knows better, I think it would be helpful for the group to know. I 
certainly would appreciate the information.
