Hi All,

This morning I came across an albino kookaburra roughly 12km South of Walcha on
the Thunderbolts Way. It was originally on roadside fence post, in lightly
timbered grazing country with swampy grass to the west of the road, before
flying up into nearby trees.

My first ever (and I doubt I'll have s second) sighting of such a wonderful
bird, of course on a day without my camera and telephoto lens. I do have some
pics from the iPhone though as confirmation.

If travelling in the area, keep your eyes open for the striking white bird.

Regards,

Andrew.
