About 30km west of Nyngan we came across a flock of Superb parrots on the side 
of the road and one dead one on the road. Over a period of about 20 minutes 
cars and trucks ploughed through another two. At that rate there will hardly be 
any of the flock left by the end of the day. Extremely sad to see.
