I did so in the past and found (eg) Black Currawong just East of the ACT!

Its easy to see how it happens - I know I have reported Red-winged Parrot
instead of Red-rumped Parrot, but its a bit of a worry that the QA system
doesn't pick it up and correct it (whichseems to happen in eBird).
