 Hi Daniel,
I would highly recommend the services of the rangers at Parc Riviere Bleue.
I went with them about 5 years ago and can only sing their praises. The
cost was about 11000 francs for about 5 hrs.

>From memory their names were Joel and Jean-Pierre. Doughty put out a field
guide on Birds of New Cal, Vanuatu and the Solomons which was quite useful.
Let me know if you cannot get a copy.

Regards

John.

Hi ?Everyone,

I'm heading to New Caledonia and I was wondering if anyone here has any
recommendations for a local bird guide there? I'll be spending time in
Noumea, Isle de Pins, and maybe Ouvea. Thanks for any help!

Dan
