Two years ago, emerging from my accommodation at the Penrith Panthers
Leagues Club at dusk, I was deafened by what I thought was the noise of
high-powered machinery.
It was a huge flock - hundreds - of Rainbow Lorikeets settling for the night in the nearby trees. Shirley Cook |
