Hi all,
I have been following the Greater/Lesser Sandplover discussion here, but
have not been able to contribute in the last two weeks, because I was
travelling overseas and did not have access to my photos from there. Most
has been said I think and all what I can add are some photos of the bird in
question, which can be found on my website:
http://www.fotowarkstee.de/galleries/birds/greater-and-lesser-sandplover/
and a link to what I believe is a valuable source helping with the ID of
these difficult to separate birds (at least for me):
